As the season winds down, we’re gonna keep rolling out as many big guests as we can and this week we’ve got two of ‘em. On Today’s episode, we’ve got 2018 All Star first baseman Mitch Moreland, who took some time to sit with us in the Red Sox dugout on Saturday.

In our interview with Mitch, I asked him if this is the best team he’s ever been on, this being a player that has been on two teams that have made it to the World Series. We also discuss his relationship with Ian Kinsler as the two were teammates with the Rangers, his memories of playing with Josh Hamilton, whether or not he believes Ted Williams actually hit a home run to the red seat, his pitching career in high school, college and Low-A, whether he enjoyed pitching more or playing first base, where he gets his toughness from, the steak and potatoes quote from spring training, how he likes his steak cooked, his special steak sauce, his All Star appearance and how much it meant to his family, the conversation he had with his agent before re-signing with Boston, the biggest difference between this year’s team and last year’s team, the Mitchy Two Bags nickname taking off, and a lot more.

On Thursday, we’re dropping our interview with a Red Sox Hall of Famer that, in my opinion, was one of the best interviews we’ve ever done. Stay tuned.
