Hawaii Was Sent A Notification That BALLISTIC MISSILES Were On The Way And To Seek Shelter "THIS IS NOT A DRILL"

How about waking up to that notification? Usually you turn over, pick up your phone, and go “oh shit, I wonder what terrible decisions I made last night?” You just know you texted a couple of girls that you shouldn’t have, you sent your buddy 14 “where r u” texts because he was 15 feet away from you in a crowded bar, and OH MY GOD WE’RE ALL ABOUT TO DIE.

Sure puts everything into perspective, eh? Here you were worrying if that girl from the other weekend was trying to “meet up”, and now you’re seeking shelter and wondering if the underground caves from the feature film Deep Impact are a real thing. Plus you’re in Hawaii so you don’t have many places to go, and because the islands are basically 100% volcano, not many houses have basements (yeah I did a quick Googling to do some blog research, nbd).

But as it turns out, it was all just a classic mistake. One second you’re just watching soccer, the next minute you’re hugging Fluffy and telling your high school girlfriend you never stopped loving her.
