The Jacksonville Jaguars Are Back In The Playoffs After 3269 Days: Nice

Nothing remarkable about this game today which is remarkable because the Jaguars won 45-7. Blake threw the ball all over the yard despite Marquis Lee going down in the 1st with an injury. The Jaguars had two rookies and a special teams player at WR for a majority of the game and whooped the shit out of a injury plagued Texans team. The best defense in the NFL did their part and only allowed 7 points.

The result is that the Jaguars are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2007. They are headed there behind a great defense, good running game, and a surprisingly efficient passing attack. Bortles is often the butt of jokes, and those jokes are usually mine, but he has been playing fantastically the last month.

The Jaguars have San Fran next week and the Titans to close out the season. Will our beloved Jaguars have a first round bye? Only time will tell but I’m on cloud 9. Feels good to not feel bad.
