Hall Of Fame Finalist Tony Boselli "The Only Cool Thing Chris Simms Ever Did Was Nearly Bleed Out On The Football Field"

Apparently, my pal Tony Boselli went on The Lebatard and caused a bit of a stir after Chris Simms said that our beloved Blake Bortles was only the 70th best quarterback in the NFL.

For those who dont remember, here’s a little blurb about what happened to Simms.

Simms suffered a season-ending injury in Game 3 of the 2006 schedule. On Sunday, September 24, he was taken off the field after taking hard hits from the Carolina Panthers defense. Simms returned to the game and even led a successful scoring drive, but remained in physical distress and was taken to a nearby hospital after the game. Tests revealed a ruptured spleen, and Simms immediately underwent emergency surgery. In the aftermath, Simms said he lost five pints of blood before the operation and conceded that another 45 minutes without treatment could have been fatal.

Lots of people will say that Tony Boselli was being ugly. He’s a left tackle. That’s what he does. He defends his quarterback. Boselli still works for the team and was defending his guy. Cant blame him. That’s a reason he should be a Hall of Famer.
