Oi Mate! Nathan Walker Became The First Aussie To Play an NHL Game AND Score a Goal

What an awesome day for Nathan Walker. First he became the first ever Australian to play in an NHL game, becoming a hero in his home country. His entire family flew in to see it. And then what did he do? Scored his first ever NHL goal.

It was originally credited to DSP, but Nate knew right away it was his, and it was eventually changed, much to the delight of his mum

All in all, a pretty great night of hockey for the Caps. I bet his pet kangaroo, Ned, is ecstatic about the news.

Oh, and I guess that Ovi guy had an alright night as well.
