He has such a childlike wonder. He sounds like a kid at summer camp trying to make new friends. It reminds me of being on the bus freshman year of high school getting to know strangers like “…uhh, what kind of music do you like?” Joel is just trying to make conversation, eager to talk to anyone who will listen and it’s goddamn cute.
