The Best Movie From Each State: Results For Indiana, Voting For Iowa

Movie States in line

The results from the thirteenth installment of my totally normal and not insane 51 week study of the top three movies from each state are IN. Remember everyone got three votes, so the percentages reflect how many times they appeared on every individual vote. For the Hoosier State, this is what y’all chose.

3. A Christmas Story

I didn’t even know this took place in Indiana until doing the research for the state, so I wouldn’t say it immediately comes to mind for me. That said, it’s maybe the singular most viewed movie of the biggest holiday of the year.

2. Rudy

He was offsides.

1. Hoosiers

Pound-for-pound probably the best basketball movie ever made and maybe the most iconic Gene Hackman role. I’m always down for a rewatch and I’m glad it took first without ever really being in doubt.

Here is the breakdown.

ResultsIndiana

This was luckily way easier than Illinois. I included Indiana Jones as a throwaway because of the name, and it beat out at least one top tier movie in “A History of Violence”. Anyway, onto the Hawkeye state, Iowa. I wonder what Trent is going to have to say about this one. As always, if some movie you like isn’t on the main list, write it in. Do not @ me because the solution is right there. If the embedded form doesn’t work, click here.
